summerdayreplay: Let The Sun Begin! This evening at 7:09 pm marks the summer solstice and with that, the first day of summer. This is the time when outdoor activities are peaking, plant life is lush and full and minds start drifting with the tides. If you’re like me, those beach vacation plans you made way back in February as a way to momentarily shake off the bitter cold, are close at hand. Life is frail but beautiful and we all have our own “today is a great day to be alive” realization. On a hot summer day when the sun is shining bright, set against a blue sky with white fluffy clouds floating by and maybe even a hint of sea salt in the air, I say “today is a great day to be alive” The hardest part of summer is watching it helplessly pass by from behind the glass of my office window, so be sure to make every single vacation minute count! May all 94 days of this summer, be Sun-days!
